The Wellington Care Centre is grateful to have been awarded the Volunteers Grant 2021 after our nomination by Federal Member for Aston, Alan Tudge MP.
As part of our care for our clients, our team received extensive first aid and mental health aid training during 2020. This training was also supported by a federal government grant.
To continue to ensure the safety and health of all our service users, our team requested a defibrillator in 2021. The volunteer grant funding has gone towards to purchase of a defibrillator, which will be installed in our community seminar room during March.
